  • Readmission Fee Waiver
    We’re excited to welcome you back—so much so, we’ll waive your readmission application fee! Simply use the waiver code UBUBALT when you apply online.

    We understand returning to school can seem overwhelming. That’s why you’ll have a dedicated team from start to finish to help you cross the finish line:
    • Personal Admission Counselor: To help you navigate the readmission process.

Steps to reapply for admission

Step 1: Start a new admission application.

Step 2: Submit your admission application. Use code UBUBALT to waive the  application fee.

Step 3: Send official transcripts from all schools attended since leaving UBalt to documents@ubalt.edu.

Step 4: Apply for financial aid using UBalt’s federal school code 002102. Scholarships may be available.

Guidelines for Re-Enrolling at UBalt

 

You’ll need to submit a new application for admission if:

  • You were admitted but did not enroll in classes, OR

  • You were previously enrolled but haven’t registered for classes in more than three consecutive semesters (excluding summer and winter sessions).

Exception: Students with an official leave of absence granted in advance do not need to reapply.

 

To be eligible for reentry, you must have left UBalt in good academic standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA, both at UBalt and in any coursework taken since.
  • If you were not in good academic standing, please submit an essay in response to the prompt: "What will you do differently to succeed at UBalt?"
  • Send your essay to documents@ubalt.edu, including your name and UBalt Student ID number in the subject line. A faculty member or academic liaison will review your application and make a decision.
Please ensure any outstanding balances with the University are cleared. For assistance, contact the Office of the Bursar at 410.837.4848 or ubaltbursar@ubalt.edu.

The University of Baltimore adheres to federal policy for service members who need to withdraw from classes and wish to be readmitted. This policy is outlined in Chapter 3, Volume 2 of The Federal Student Aid Handbook.
